I have MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivity) which is a disabling condition involving chemical exposures. To help release stress I make greeting cards. My sis taught me, or I should say is continually teaching and inspiring me, and I will be forever in her debt.

Moser Roth Privat Chocolatiers
I was reading a review as I sat eating my Moser Roth Chili Chocolate Bar. For me it is a treat beyond expectation. It melts in my mouths slowly, the chili is mild but I feel the tingle ever so slightly. The dark chocolate is so satisfying there is no need to run and gobble the entire package; every other day is fine. After a hard day of home schooling and greeting card making or embroidery and the child is outside playing and the hubby is not home yet, I sit down with a cup of my favorite joe and slowly nurse my chocolate. Since I am super sensitive to fragrances (I have MCS), this is my "Take me away Calgon" moment.
I made my purchase at Aldi's not expecting too much for the price $2.39 for 4.4 oz/125 grams but I could not resist the Chili flavor as it rare to find especially in the small town where we live now. Our Aldi's just opened last week. The packaging is excellent as the 4.4 oz pkg comes with 5 individually wrapped pieces inside
What a delight and what a bargain.

Birthday card for a University of Tennessee fan
A friend of mine is a a tried and true, bleeds orange, University of Tennessee fan. I wanted something to do something to honor him (his wife too) so I was up late last night trying to come up with an idea for the card front. I perused the collegiate websites looking for ideas. I think I must have dreamed about this one as it came to me quickly this morning while having my morning cup-o-joe. I hope they like it. Now I have to get the brain going because my hubby was a bit jealous. He too, is a die-hard UT fan; I have until December for his card though.

Plastic Medallion or Embellished Grapevine
I just did not want to go with $15/20 plastic medallion to go with our new ceiling fan in the spare bedroom. I walked around Michael’s Craft Store thinking, and thinking when it hit me. beautiful garland intertwined with grapevine and a few peach colored flowers. I used an electric stapler to put the vines in place after intertwining the garland; then I hot glued the additional flowers. Budget $10 for 10ft grapevine and $10 for garland with crystals.
Halloween Stitchery
Between homeschooling and resting I was able to clear my mind for a minute by stitching and chalking this great Halloween card. It is a 5 x 7, sorta large, but I was excited to jump in and use one of the new embroidery patterns I just purchased from Advanced Embroidery Designs. The had a Labor Day sale I could not resist.
Their Freebie pattern was great too and I have posted a pic of it as well. It is a beautiful FSL Battenburg Flower Doily measuring 4.25 x 4.25 inches.

Halloween a little early
I scanned a stencil and turned it into an MTC file which totally inspired me for future cards. I hope you like the cards.
