I hope to send pics soon of some new embroidered Thank You notes and Mother's Day cards. Also a tradition card. I recently had reconstructive surgery on my right ankle so things have been going an unfamiliar pace. We are certainly blessed if you compare us to others so close by that lost everything from the tornado outbreak. type at you soon.

I have this product in my living room. It is very quiet and seems to be filtering the air quite nicely. Set up was easy but a few more "directions for dummies" would have been nice. When you are sensitive to everything - this purifier is literally a life saver.

Thanksgiving is upon us.

 

It probably seems as though I have been slacking but being down with my back takes it toll on me occasionally with a lack of spontaneous creativity.

It hit me 2 days ago that I wanted to try a particular style of card I had been reading about.  Embossing and sponging together.

Here are 3 of my newest.  I have 3 more Thanksgiving and then 3 Christmas.

Geisha Girl makes an entrance

I made a card several months ago.  Lovely card. Lacking something though of which I could not figure out.  My sister said it looked like it had an Asian/Oriental theme.  I told her no, I wasn’t going to get into those themes like she did (She loves Asian themes).  Now today, I looked at that card and it said “Geisha”.  I tried to resist but found myself looking for cut files of an Asian silhouette when I came across this beauty on http://scrappedlives.nl/.  The owner was nice enough to allow me to use this on my card.  The final touch.  Now I have to beg forgiveness from my loving sister; then we can continue on our love of the orient together.
